The process for rotomoulded solar battery housings

To be able to come up with a design, we first need to hear all your ideas and requirements for the rotomoulded solar battery housings. Once the design is approved, we produce the mould, after which the 6-step rotomoulding process starts:

  1. The first step is to prepare the material used for the solar battery storage. To do so, plastic granules are reduced in size to create a fine powder.
  2. The plastic powder is inserted in the mould in the exact weight of the solar battery storage housings.
  3. The mould is attached to an arm that rotates it in two directions. By heating the mould, the material will melt and evenly adhere to the walls.
  4. The mould is cooled down below melting temperature, causing the material to solidify in the mould.
  5. The mould is opened, and the finished part can be removed.
  6. The final product is assembled, tested, inspected and packed. Your rotomoulded solar battery housings are ready to be used!
