Rotomoulded battery storage containers
The process towards your rotomoulded battery storage containers starts with a design that ticks all the boxes. Once we have that, we can produce the mould that we need for the rotomoulding. Then we are ready to start the 6-step process:
- The plastic for the battery storage containers is reduced from granules to a fine powder, using a grinder.
- The powder is inserted in the mould in the exact weight of the battery storage container.
- The loaded mould is transferred to a heated oven and attached to an arm that rotates around two axes. The plastic melts and covers the walls evenly.
- By cooling the mould down below melting temperature the material solidifies into a fixed shape.
- The product is ready to be removed from the mould. To ensure controlled release from the surface of the mould, special anti-adhesive agents are used. These are applied as a coating on the inside of the mould to regulate the release of the finished product.
- After assembling, testing, inspecting, and packing, your rotomoulded battery storage containers are ready!
