WindEnergy 2024 - Rotovia's plastics wind energy solutions
WindEnergy 2024, one of the world’s most important events for the wind energy industry, took place in Hamburg from 24-27 September. At this year’s edition, Rotovia presented its premium rotomoulded products dedicated to the wind energy sector. Our stand, located at B5.311, attracted many experts interested in innovations to support the development of renewable energy sources.

WindEnergy Hamburg is a crucial event for the wind industry, bringing together leaders, experts and enthusiasts in renewable energy development every year. This year’s fair was an opportunity for us to showcase our rotomoulding technology, which enables the creation of one-piece, extremely strong constructions with great design flexibility.
Visitors to our stand had the opportunity to see our rotationally moulded products live and learn about the advantages of our technology. It makes it possible to create plastic parts that are lightweight, strong and resistant to changing conditions. These innovative solutions fit perfectly with our approach to sustainability, supporting the renewable energy industry with eco-friendly and functional products.
Rotovia's rotomoulded innovations - products for the wind energy sector
At WindEnergy 2024, we presented two key products that address the current needs of the wind energy sector: the cooling tank for wind turbines and the VARIBOX compact containment. Designed for the extreme operating conditions of wind farms, our cooling tank features exceptional durability and resistance to material fatigue. Thanks to its advanced design, it is up to 50% lighter than traditional solutions, making it easier to transport, assemble and operate, while maintaining full functionality. Manufactured from high-quality materials, this tank is completely recyclable, which fits perfectly with our sustainability strategy.
Our second product, the VARIBOX compact containment, is a safe, reusable container for transporting and storing chemicals. Thanks to its double walls and exceptional leak-tightness, VARIBOX ensures complete safety in use, protecting both people and the environment. We prepared a cut-down version of the VARIBOX for the fair so that visitors to our stand could see the advanced design of this product, which combines innovation with reliability.

Visitors to our stand also had the opportunity to talk with Mariusz Bidol, Business Development Director at Rotovia, and Hendrik Eissens, Account Manager at Rotovia Deventer. Our experts shared their knowledge of rotomoulding and its applications in the production of plastic components for wind energy. They answered questions and advised on how our rotomoulded components can support business development in this sector. These were valuable meetings that created opportunities for collaboration based on modern technology and sustainability.
