Custom roto mold tanks
Custom roto mold tanks are manufactured in a process of 6 steps:
- Material preparation
HDPE granules are reduced in size using a micro-pelletizer or a pulverizer.
- Loading
The material is inserted in the mould we designed for the custom HDPE tanks.
- Sintering
The mould is heated and rotated around 2 axes. The HDPE melts and adheres to the mould in an even layer.
- Cooling
The mould and material are cooled down below melting temperature, which causes the material to solidify in the mould.
- De-moulding
The finished part is removed from the mould.
- Finishing & assembling
The final tank is assembled, tested, inspected and packed.
